MADD Illinois believes there are number of ways individuals in the community can help make our communities and roadways safer.  The number one way to help is to make a pledge not to drink and drive and to aid in preventing underage drinking.

MADD volunteers are dads and daughters, sons and uncles, friends and neighbors – and mothers.  They are all ages and from all walks of life.  And, they are the heart and soul of MADD.  It is their compassion and determination that drives the organization and it is their tireless efforts that have accomplished so much.  Join thee ordinary citizens who have become extraordinary activists in saving lives.

Whether you are interested in volunteering a couple of times a year or a couple of times a week, there’s a place for you at MADD.  We have a wide variety of opportunities to choose from including:

  • Legislative activities

  • Speaker’s bureau program

  • Working with youth

  • Special events activities

  • Victim advocates

  • Court monitoring

  • Victim Impact Panel Speakers

  • Fundraising

MADD Illinois always appreciates in-kind gifts from the local communities.  Our current wish list includes:

  • Items to include in our silent auction fundraiser.

  • Laptop computers and LCD projector

  • Gas cards

  • Free billboard space

  • CTA and Metra passes for victims
